OneFuture Coachella Valley is actively recruiting current undergraduate students to assist with the OneFuture Coachella Valley Gents Alliance Program. This program is geared to increase school engagement, academic progress and career road mapping for male students. The Gents Alliance Ambassador will report directly to the Vice President of Scholarship and College Success. Job duties consist of the following:

  • Assist in the Gents Alliance Program recruitment of male, students attending College of the Desert
  • Assist with onboarding and data collection
  • Assist with event, meeting, and counseling coordination
  • Communicate procedures and required documentation to participating students
  • Assist with outreach efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

Eligibility Requirements

  • Computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical
  • Ability and understanding to handle confidential information
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Available to work in hybrid (virtual and in person) environment when required


  • The hours are to be arranged Monday –Friday, between 8:00AM and 5:00PM. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Paid Opportunity

  • $17 an hour, up to 15 hours per week
  • November 2022 – March 2023
