The seventh annual The Future Is Ours Awards Celebration and Fundraiser was held on Wednesday, February 28 to honor outstanding leaders from the Coachella Valley who have worked tirelessly to help our students succeed for a promising future through education.

The Future Is Ours Awards
Each year, OneFuture recognizes local leaders who have positively impacted the lives of students and our community through leadership and service. We need YOU to nominate people in any or each of the following award categories.
The Future Is Ours Award: In recognition of a Career and College Success alum who upon entering the professional workforce continues to contribute and enhance their community through their profession, leadership, and commitment to philanthropy.
Engaging Partner Award: In recognition of either a Business or Civic partner who helps support career exploration opportunities for local students and access to a higher education or is directly helping advance college and career opportunities for students in the region and engaging community members to support OFCV’s mission and goals outlined in the Coachella Valley Regional Plan for College and Career Success.
Empowering Students Award: In recognition of either a K-16 Instructor or Counselor who has helped transform teaching and learning for students or helped advance college and career strategies outlined in the Coachella Valley Regional Plan for College and Career.
Inspiring Leadership Award: In recognition of an educational administrator of a school district or higher education who has demonstrated superior leadership in education and a sustained pattern of support for the benefit of the Coachella Valley Regional Plan for College and Career Success.
The Terry and Jacke Green Visionary Award: An honor of great prestige that is awarded to an individual or organization that has significantly contributed to the advancement of OFCV’s mission and the Coachella Valley’s Regional Plan for College and Career Success.
