Established in 2015, the Gents Alliance Program was developed to improve the college access and completion rates of men in the Coachella Valley. The program engages local business, education, and civic partners to develop services and align resources to increase college success rates among men, as outlined in the valley’s Regional Plan for College and Career Success.
Today, Gents Alliance Clubs are active at several local high schools and College of the Desert.
History: It first began with our Male scholarship recipients and ensuring we could provide a proper support network for our young males to persist and complete their post-secondary degrees.
The success of this initiative reached across the valley and all three school districts requested to create such a program at the high school level. Gents Alliance is currently established at 12 different High schools with the goal of supporting these students during their four years.

COD Gents: Students who attend College of the Desert (COD) can join the Gents Alliance Program there, which was just established in 2022. They will benefit from the following services:
